Develop, design, code, test, debug, authenticate, deploy, migrate projects, programs, biometrics cloud API, standards and best practices for engineering IT solutions. Review tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise IT environment, intangibles. Confer with developers, perform unit testing, prepare technical design documents, participate in scrum, refine stories, research software defects, participate in SDLC and interface, troubleshoot production issues.

Implement layers, work in Dev, SIT, and QA environments. Implement BDD test automation, scope release requirements, identify risks, review project margins, deduce dependencies and bottlenecks, execute test cases, plan releases. Analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans.

Use Java, J2EE, Spring, REST, GitHub, Gradle, Eclipse, OmniAuth, SOAP Web Services, PCF, Agile, Junit, Mockito, Spring Boot, Kafka, jQuery, IntelliJ, Log4J, Postman, JavaScript, Jenkins, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Sonar, Struts, SQL, JDBC. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations.

Must have 2 years of experience reviewing code; performing testing; participate in release activities; using Java, J2EE, Spring, Eclipse, Web Services, Agile, jQuery, IntelliJ, Log4J, Struts, SQL, JDBC. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted.
